There's always a 1st time for everything...

I didn't have class yesterday... Wednesdays are my day off from Uni besides the weekends... Yay me!!! :)

It was a nice chilly breezy day, so I thought of going to Northland for some winter coat shopping and to spend some alone time in a mall. I don't normally do that as I find it awkward and weird walking in a mall alone in Malaysia because everyone stares!!! No idea why, but Malaysian loves to stare at others =.='

So anyhooo, when I was there, I had the sudden urge to watch a movie, so I went to watch How To Train A Dragon :) I find the movie quite enjoyable. Very cute and funny dragons especially this black dragon he's riding on known as the Night Fury in the movie.

It was my FIRST time watching a movie in the cinema ALONE!! Felt kinda nice actually. haha! ;)
Oh by the way, student rate for movies here in the land down under is 14.50AUD. It's like watching a freaking gold class movie back in Malaysia. Boy is our currency lousy!! And like in Malaysia where on Wednesdays, movies rates are the cheapest; here, Tuesdays are the cheapest - 10.50AUD. Which still equals to a bloody gold class ticket!! >.<
But I managed to watch this animated movie for only 5AUD!! hehe... Why?
Because Kinder Bueno and Hoyts (the cinema) are having this promotion where by you just have to buy 2 packs of their specially coded chocolate with the special movie promotion wrapper, register online to get the 5AUD movie voucher and walah.... you get to enjoy a movie for only 5aud. The chocolate costs 2aud per pack, so altogether you'll get to enjoy any movie (except in 3D) for only 9aud and you'll get to indulge in delicious chocolate too!! I L-O-V-E the Kinder Bueno White!!! :D

Look how many we bought!!! but hurry, last chance to redeem your voucher is on the 13th of June...

Oh and this is what I cooked for dinner yesterday too!
Pan-fried Salmon with Mushroom cream sauce, simple boiled prawns with salt and pepper, and garlic bread which I didn't manage to snap a picture of. :D
