Tutti Frutti

Went to IOI mall yesterday night for dinner with my parents...

After dinner, it was time for dessert!!!

and I noticed that they have a Tutti Frutti brunch here,
so I convinced my parents to try it out...

I find this shop pretty cool and fun...

you get to create your own frozen yogurt dessert,
get to play with the machines!!!

There are a variety of flavored yogurt to choose from.
First Step: Just pull the handle downwards and fill your tub with the flavors you desire.

Next step: pick the toppings and fruit cutlets you desire

3rd step: Weigh your tub and pay $$$
Mummy's treat!!!

and wa lah~~~ you have a Tutti Frutti... haha

Last step: INDULGE!!!!!

Nihon Kai

Sorry guys, another food post.

This time it's Japanese...

Every Sunday, I'll usually spend lunch with my church friends which are also my normal bunchies, just boyfriend-less.

And usually we'll spend like 15mins after church mingling around with the church members, then the next 30 mins settling down and deciding what to eat.

Yes, we take that long just to decide what to eat.
that's because when you ask someone 'eh, what you want to eat?'

The normal answer that any normal human being would answer would most definitely be...

'anything la, what do you want to eat?'

see, you ask them, then they'll ask you back the same question pulak. =.='

and this time, the answer would be either...

'I don't know, up to you..'
or
'I anything.'

See la, how to decide?!?!?!?!?!?!?! haha

So this week I said, lets have Japanese.

and so we headed to our destination...

Nihon Kai.
It's a nice little Japanese restaurant along Jalan Klang Lama,
hidden in a cozy corner but still manages to gain crowd.

The food is slightly pricey but the food's fresh!

and when speaking of fresh Japanese food, of coz, I'm talking about their raw stuff.

Anyway, we got ourselves a lil private room to eat in.

I ordered the normal California Roll. Had a sudden craving for it when I was there.
Shared Gyoza with Andrew.
And also ordered myself a Unagi Don.
1 of my favorites other than Tempura.
4 of us had to rush because they were late for carolling practice back at church.
While the rest of us, chilled there and enjoyed our meal.
After meal, time for some money issues...

Here's something funny.

Eng asked and answered,
Why Japanese eats on the floor?
So that they can sleep straight away after eating.
The only ones left after lunch,

Rhino Tong
Eng the rock-star-drummer-dentist

While I was about to take this picture, Juan was telling us about some Japanese phobia about Japanese locking themselves in the room alone for months, even years because they're afraid to face the outside world.

Before he could reach the point of the story, he started laughing and covering his face,
we all thought it was gonna be a funny story, but no....

he was laughing and covering his face because he was camera shy!!!!

Spaghetti Farm

Went to Mid Valley for lunch earlier today,

suppose to go for Teppanyaki,

but I saw this new food outlet open opposite of Teppanyaki called - Spaghetti Farm.

So thought I gave it a try...

The price aren't expensive.

the most expensive pasta is only RM12.80 I think?

And just add another RM3.20, you'll get a set of pasta with soup and soft drink!!!

So I'd say RM18 max?

For me, I ordered the famous Bolognese Beef Pasta.

Best dish to test out whether it's delicious or not...
For the soup, they have a selection of Creamy Chicken, Mushroom Soup, Tomato Soup and i can't remember the last 1... hehe

I chose my favorite soup, Tomato Soup...

Hahaha, It was not bad. A good choice of place and food if you have a sudden crave for pasta and don't want to spend a bomb to satisfy your craving or you're kinda broke at the moment but want to indulge in some Pasta...

I swept everything clean... guess I was too hungry... hehe

Fun in Black & white plus Sepia

Just found new fun with Snax2oIs...

That is shooting black and white pictures like below...

And also sepia pictures!!!

This uncle asked me to pay RM1 for taking his picture...

My personal favourite sepia shot...

This shot reminds me of my dad's house when he was a little boy...

My new found favourite :)

Father daughter trip Day 2 *End*

Day 2 of my father-daughter trip to Malacca.

We'll start of with a day time view of my hotel room.
With that view above, zoom in 20x...

and this is what you get...

Love this mirror in the elevator!!!

Went to visit the Hang Li Poh temple...

another history & tourism spot...
Then with my neighbor's new GPS navigator,
we went looking for some Teow Chew Porridge..

With trouble finding some parking, we double parked instead...

only to find that the shop we were looking for was right in front of our eyes!!! =.='

This shop was established since 1963... or was it 1936??? :S

anyway, check out the delicious delights!!!
With only 4 people, these are part of the food we've ordered...

at the back kitchen, i saw this grandma getting water from a well.

Back in those days, every household has a water well, don't ask me why but I find this water well very amusing... hehe...

Reminds me of my old Shah Alam house...

And before heading home, we stopped by this little place that sells Chendol!!!

and also some Popiah...

Some random snap shots of that place while enjoying some cold Chendol to cool ourselves from the uber hot-burning sun!!!
