First of all, hello again butterflies...

Most of you would know what i meant by Hell right? My Hell. Well, on the 17th of April, I was finally freed from the burning place. Although I'm really happy to leave, I'm too very sad to leave the friends I've made back there. The people who helped me through my training. Thanks a lot Sheratonians!!! Really appreciate it!! :)

Besides learning what i should learn. I felt my whole training was like a fashion show. Where i had to change uniform every now and then. I liked some of the uniforms and also hated some... lol...

It was, what it seems to be a sunny afternoon... was working at my hell turned a lil heavenly hotel. my colleague asked me to arrange these glass bottled drinks on a shelf in our beverage store...

And while i was arranging it, 1 wrong turn to pick up the last 2 bottles, suddenly...

IT WAS A BLEEDING HORROR!!!

piang piang piang...

yeap... the shelf gave way and the glasses started falling and guess what???

yeap, a klutz like me (i always get hurt, everyday, somehow), got a cut on my hand... (damn the glasses)

it was flowing like the deep red sea came flushing into the beverage store, drowning my hand...

and poof... wallah...

bloody huh??

And guess what? my colleague didn't come rushing over because it's actually quite normal to hear a banging sound in the lounge so yeah, i stood there for awhile, shocked, and didn't know i got cut and was bleeding because 1 of the bottles i was arranging, happens to be red wine... so i thought the red colour on my uniform was from it... funny, i know...

so i called out for my colleague, and she came, and BOOM!!! she stood there shocked for a few seconds and asked me if i was hurt, i said no... and she saw my bloody uniform and was even more shocked... she rolled up my sleeve and there it was... A cut from the glass (damn the glass again), with blood gushing out sort of rapidly...

went to the hotel's clinic with my colleague and boy was i seeing double of everything... my vision started to blur like the TV when there's no signal... my body started to feel floaty, my feet wasn't feeling like it was touching the ground anymore... i had to squat down for awhile till my visions were back... and finally, we reached the clinic... the nurses were shocked by the bloodiness on my hand...

the doctor used a cotton soaked in antiseptic and cleaned the wound... and she was stroking downwards soooo hard, directly on my wound and somehow opening my wound to check if there were any pieces of glasses in it... I felt nothing the 1st time she stroked over it, but the second time... EEE OUCH!!! well, i didn't scream, nor did i make any sound, but my hand started to shake...

the doctor said i could leave the wound to heel like that or get it stitched... well, she gave me a choice, so guess what my choice was???

after that, i asked the doctor for something to stop the giddiness in me, she gave me something to drink, i drank like 3 glasses and it still didn't stop it... so she gave me MC for the day...

it was the longest trip home ever... i had to like stop for awhile to get my visions straight before continue walking, taking the trains.. and it was raining =.='... but thank GOD i was able to drive home safely...

So, that's pretty much it for my bloody experience... lol...

Second day of burning... it was a total waste of time!!!

When i reach the hotel today, we were informed that there will be a fire drill practice at 10am (guess i'll really be burning...) and after the drill, they issued our uniforms for us... the uniform i got was pretty comfortable... there were like 2 different designs for Front Office's uniform... mine was the least nicer 1 but it was also considered nicer than the other hotel (for me)... and also they issued us our locker keys...

I bumped into some of the employees in the girl's changing room, they were all so friendly and cheerful... all smiles on their faces with delightful greetings... that really minimizes my fears... and after i got change, i went to meet up with my boss - Mr. Kuhan - friendly, with big eyes!!! he introduced me to another trainee from Holland - Nyhke (sadly it was her last day of training today...) she brought me on a short tour around the offices... and then i was sent to the business centre with ms. Elmi there waiting for me... she's sooo friendly and cheerful... i felt no pressure at all... she thought me minor stuffs in the business centre... while waiting for Ms.Linda to work out my working schedule...

There wasn't much to do in the business centre, so i was like practically standing all around the room, doing nothing... it was seriously dead boring!!! because Ms.Elmi had nothing for me to do because she herself has nothing to do... (this is why there's only 1 employee's seat in the business centre, it's only meant to have only 1 staff in there =.=') of all places they send me there... after stoning til 3.30pm, the next shift came -Ms.Audrea, supposed to be my senior in college... (from sunway hospitality course, Aug04 batch) she was really friendly too... and all the other staffs that walked in to the business centre were really friendly too... didn't feel like a stranger around them... (which is good...)

Stoned till 5pm and still no news from Ms. Linda about my working schedule... (ish >.<) so Audrea called her at 5.30pm, and then she only told Audrea to tell me to go home and come back tomorrow at 8am till 4pm... i was like OMG!!! she took the whole day to do 1 schedule and still no schedule done... i mean yeah she might be busy and all but she could have informed or something... and guess what, before going home, she only started to me for my name and how long i'll be training there and all... and it seems that these are the information needed to work out my schedule =.='

What a total waste of my time today!!! like seriously i did nothing but stood around... argh!!! and tomorrow i'm suppose to go back to the business centre again!! another day of stoning >.<

Phew... i finally made it tru my very 1st day of SWE...

It wasn't so bad... it was boring at times when they were briefing us about some stuff... normal 1st day briefings... it was like sitting in the college lecture hall again just that this 1, i cannot pretend i'm listening but actually i'm sleeping... lol...

This morning, was my 1st time taking public transport all alone... it was quite scary, i was like non-stop checking whether i took the right side of the train or not... And when i arrived at the Hotel, my heart was like beating soooo freaking fast, it was like about to jump out of my chest... i was sooo scared and nervous... but when it started, i started to feel better...

My 1st experience...

Thank GOD i wasn't alone during the briefing... there were another 2 malay guy trainees(Shafiq & Amirul) with me...(sadly, they are going to the kitchen department...) and also, there like another 2 new managers(Fiona & Stephanie) too... My speaker-Ms.Apple was a really friendly, cheerful person... She reminded me soooo much of my aunty (Mandy, if you're reading this, i think you know who i'm talking about right?) the way she talk, the way she act... She wasn't those serious speakers... she was like jumping all around the place... singing loudly to herself... felt no preasure at all...

The good thing was, my orientation was suppose to last till this friday, and i'll officially start work next monday... BUT!!! now comes the bad news... Since there were like only 3 of us, they decided to cut the orientation down to only today... and officially start tomorrow!!! sad right... oh, today during lunch... since i knew no one there yet, so i had lunch alone... i hate having lunch all alone... coz everyone else tends to stare at a loner... felt really weird... i had the worst mamak stall food i tell you... plain disgusting!!! >.<>

For the ice-breaking session, to make it more interesting, Ms.Apple gave us a piece of paper and markers... we were to only write our names and the other introductions, we had to DRAW them!!!Let me show you my self-introduction...

This is ME!!!

I think i should explain right... 1st one(top) - is suppose to describe what i'm doing now, so the pic shows that i'm currently training in the hotel (as you can see a desk counter with me, and 3 guests lining up.. the other is me making beds...) Then 2nd(right)- describes my hobbies which are photography, travelling, dancing, eating, yam cha, playing piano, surfing internet, outdoor activities (as you can see a door with the word 'OUT'...) and listening to music... 3rd(bottom)- Is suppose to describe what i see in the opposite sex which is 1st i'll see the hair, then the body (must have triangle shape), the brain and the light represents intelligence, 'HAHA' represents sense of humour and lastly the twirly eyes represents crazy-ness... And last but not least(left) is to describe what kind of person am i... 1st pic - shows that i'm lame... then always laughing... 3rd is crazy-ness, 4th is i can be quiet and shy, 5th i can be really talkative, the bat represents that i'm not really a morning person more of a night person... last is animal lover and butterfly lover...

OK, here comes the best part of the day... during our tour, Ms.Apple told us that the 3 of us were the luckiest orientation group that she brought tru out her 2 and a half years working at the hotel because we were the ONLY group that got to visit ALL the types of rooms they have in the hotel... it was quite interesting touring the place... the rooms were really really beautiful... lol.. and of coz, really expensive as well... The cheapest room there costs RM600++ per night... and the best room of all, obviously the most expensive room too which cost RM10k till RM12k per night... can you believe it?!?! it's freaking expensive right!!! it is none other than the Imperial Suite a.k.a Presidential Suite as some hotels call it... Let me show you the pictures... i can't take really nice pictures coz i secretly took it (coz i'm not allowed to actually...)

There were like 3 sitting areas in the room, the manager was there so i can't take pics of it... The room is 338sqM... in Meters!!! sooooo huge that you can actually play hide and seek in it... or even get lost in it yourself!!!

I went to the spa too... and it's super nice too of coz... haha... so tempted to do a spa there but really ex... you'll feel superly peacefull in the spa area...

Tomorrow my work officially starts (so they say...) hopefully they won't give me a hard time...

I'm BACK!!! Phew~~~ let me catch my breath before i start blebbering...

This whole week of RAYA holidays, i can say it is well spent...
On monday and tuesday, i was doing my MICE stuff... and from wednesday tilll friday, helped dad...

Yesterday was my dad's friend's restaurant's 2nd anniversary... and my dad... being toooo kind, helped his friend to come up with an anniversary set dinner menu... and me being his daughter, in the hospitality line, had no choice but to help him out in the restaurant's kitchen... and my dad, hoping to change the concept of the menus and the kitchen operations in the restaurant, asked me to help him make 10 menu folders...

So on wednesday, i bought the materials... and just when i wanted to start doing my 'masterpieces', he calls me and ask me to follow him to the restaurant... that was around 3 something in the afternoon... That was when the preparations officially starts... we started preparing the marinations and sauces for the dishes... and prepared a lil bit for food testing the next day... had dinner around the restaurant area and went back to continue our prepartions... we finally went back around 11plus that night... and the tired us bathed, washed up and went to bed straight away...

Thursday, i woke up around 11 plus, had a peaceful cereal breakfast in front of the computer watching my taiwanese series... hoping that the time would just stop there so that i won't have to start working on the menu folders (lazy me... hehe)... but, i had no choice... when father need the daughter's help... daughter always helps... haha... so i starting picking the penknife to cut out the shapes and all... and boy was it difficult to cut tru thick cardboards... and i had 9 to cut out... *faints*... and just when i reach about the 4th card board... it was again doomed time (3plus pm)... dad's call arrived and ask me to follow him to the restaurant to prepare again... so i went faithfully... and he expected 20 ppl to come for the food testing at 730pm... when it was 745pm... only my mom showed up... and when my mom called my dad's friend's wife... she didn't even know there was food testing >.<... when she came, she said that her husband had some dinner function and is not coming... which means, NOBODY'S COMING?!?!?! all the food prepared, cooked, and no one to taste... but we had a young hero who came to a lil rescue... Tet Leon came with an invitation from my dad tru me... ahaha... my dad was a lil pissed because when he informed his friend, his friend said "oh okok"... and then didn't show up... AND IT'S HIS RESTAURANT!!! AND HE'S NOT GONNA TASTE THE FOOD THAT HE'S GONNA SERVE TO THE PUBLIC?!?!?! what a joke =.='... any how, in the end, only my mom,dad, the wife , tet leon and i tasted the food... and man!!! i'm so proud of my dad and myself!!! haha... the food were considered delicious coming from a recipe we've never tried at home before... and it's our 1st time cooking it... especially the chicken and the beef... mmm~~~ yum~~~ went home around 11 plus... bathed, washed up and started typing out the menus while discussing about it with my dad... finished it at around 12 plus... after that, in order for me to try to finish the menu folders in time, i continue cutting... i finished cutting and measuring and completing 1 at around 4am!!!

Anniversary day!!! woke up at around 11 plus again >.<... had my cereal and down to business again... was doing the folders and only completing all 10 of them at 6pm!!! it's sooo not easy to do though it looks easy... and why must the cardboards be so hard to cut tru them?!?!?! had blisters on my fingers... a few... though it's small but when you press against them while cutting,it hurts:(

once i finished, i rushed to the restaurant and help my dad... the celebration started around 730pm and it was full house!!!! the owner of the restaurant, just sat around, eating and drinking while chatting with his friends... while my dad!!! he was running everywhere like a chicken coordinating the kitchen and the restaurants... poor him... On the other hand, my mom and i helped the kitchen crew prepare the food... it was hard to work for 100 over customers because the kitchen is sooooooooooooo freaking small!!!! it's like sooo hard to walk around and there's like no place to put all the plates... and the only thing my dad's friend did was ask where's the food =.='... soooo pissed!!! gees=.=' at around 1030pm, i finally got to rest and enjoy my DINNER... but not in peace because the whole place was like an amplifier being turned on... and it was like a smoke house... inside and outside!!! filled with cigeratte smoke =.='... yucks!!! (And for once, i'm sooooo scared of receiving calls from my dad... whe he calls, it means i need to work... i really didn't feel like picking up his phone whenever it rings... lol... poor dad...)

At around 12 plus... most of the adults were all high... it's damn funny seeing them sway themselves all around the place... and my dad's friend had a friend from Hong Kong... she's just... erm... there's no words that i can think of to describe her... she's just like a walking radio... her mouth just won't stop blebbering even from the beginning!!! just imagine when she's high, her volume is turned on to the max... with her stong hongky accent, you can't even hear was she's talking about because she mixes both cantonese and english together... and she talks pieces by pieces of sentences... it's quite irritating... and her seliva pipe has holes!!! while she talks, please hold an umbrella to protect yourself... you know what i mean... and there's this other young guy from china but speaks really good cantonese... he was drunk too but he can at least stand still.. haha... the funny thing was, he kept repeating the same sentences over and over again... to my mom, dad, and my mom again and again... and all my mom did was answer 'ok ok'... he kept saying 'next time, any bulbs, lightings, electronic things; come find me...' the way he says it and all is damn funny...

Finally went home at 2 am... slept at around 23o am... and i woke up today at 13o pm, after a very satisfying sleep!!! :) had my brunch - chicken rice!!! watched my favourite movie - The Covenant... the main actor is just soooo gorgeous, hot!!! hahaha... and till now... i'm blogging...
now, i'm done blogging... hehe... now i need to start thinking on a design of a crazy hat for my church's function tonight!!! i have only about 2 hours to prepare!!! hahah see ya!!!

Have you ever feel like just sleeping for the rest of your life and never wake up till you're totally satisfied with your sleep??? well, i wish to feel that way but i just can't... woke up dead tired this morning and wanted to bath... only to find that there's NO water!!! my dad off the main switch to filter the water... it was like 10 and i was suppose to meet my friends in pyramid's Starbucks at 11!!! In the end, i arrived there at 1130 to 1145... just when i thought i was the latest, there was only 1 of my member there waiting.... the rest just left the house!!!! crap >.<>

When they arrived, we started discussing on our MICE charity movie event proposal... finally decided on a movie... and almost done with our new proposal... left at around 4 plus...

Just before going back, i went to the petshop and got myself a Guinea Pig!!! hehe... it's also in the rodents family (i think)... hahaha... i know, being an animal lover i should know that... but i think it is... even if it's not... it has to be for this post becuase it's a MICE day... hahaha... and mice are rodents...

When i was choosing my guinea pig... the guy that was assisting me didn't even know how to differentiate female and male!!!! and he's working there!!! a customer had to tell him it's a female =.=' and he didn't even know the correct price for the guinea pig... i know it was RM30 per pig... but he told me RM25 =.='... how can he work there man!!!

Anyway, i was happy with that pig because it was soooooo adorable and it doesn't struggle when you try to hold her and touch her... hahaha... i quickly drove home and put it into the cage with my previous pig, Beanie... and Beanie straight away went over and start sniffing it and like cuddle with it... hahaha... how loving.... (a proud pet mom praises herself)... hahaha...

Later in the evening, i accompanied my dad to go 'collect' my sister at KLIA... and then we headed to Sunway Tower to fetch my dad's friend over for dinner... we had a simple and delicious chinese dinner (At last!!!)... haven't had homecooked chinese style dinner for ages!!! hahaha... and the day ended with my DRIVING MY DAD'S HARRIER, fetching our guest back to her hotel... wahahaha... feel soooo proud... hahaha....
